As staff at Split Leaps Gymnastics Club, it is our promise to you that we do our best to make
your child feel safe, valued and an important part of our gymnastics family. We encourage
your child to learn in a happy and relaxed environment at their own pace, whether they are
doing gymnastics for fun or if they strive to be the next Olympic champion. We will NEVER
force your child to perform a skill that they are not ready for or hold your child back if they
wish to be pushed.
If you would like to discuss your child's progress or you have any concerns, coaches are
happy to talk to you at the end of each session or we are more than happy to set up a
meeting or chat by calling 07551904649 or email tinaamis@hotmail.co.uk . If your concern is
a welfare issue first contact your child's coach or the Head Coach. If further concerns or a
concern about a coach please contact our welfare officer Rachel Wyatt on 07791495775 or
email rachelwyattxx@gmail.com .

We ask that gymnast’s be on time as far as possible and are dressed correctly
for gym ( please be aware the gym has no changing room but we are more than
happy for your child to change in the toilets).
Earrings must be taped if they cannot
be removed and all long hair must be tied back securely for each training session
Gymnast’s MUST listen to the coaches instructions during the session and only
perform skills they are trained and competent to do within their skill range.
Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch in our viewing area, they must
however NOT interfere with training by constantly calling their child over to give other
instructions, shout across the gym or distract any of the coaches as this is
dangerous.
Children who are in the gymnastics centre and are not participating must NOT run
around the gym or go on any of the equipment inside the gymnastics area.
